What we do

Everything your business needs from an IT partner

Pick the pieces you're missing, or hand us the whole stack. Either way you get one team, one number to call, and one predictable bill.

Why GSD

IT that gets stuff done — without the runaround

Most businesses don't need more technology. They need someone accountable for the technology they already have. That's the job we take.

  • A named engineer who knows your environment, not a rotating queue
  • Flat monthly pricing so support calls never cost you extra
  • Security built into every plan, not sold as an upsell later
  • Plain-English reporting you can hand to your leadership team
  • 30-day out — we keep your business by earning it

“We went from waiting two days on tickets to same-morning fixes. The difference showed up in payroll hours within the first quarter.”

Operations Director — 60-person distribution company

“They found the gaps our previous provider had been billing us to cover. The cyber-insurance renewal went through without a single exception.”

CFO — regional accounting firm

“Migration weekend was the least dramatic thing that happened all year. Monday morning everyone just logged in.”

FAQ

Questions we get every week

What exactly is included in managed IT services?

Monitoring and maintenance of your servers, workstations, and network; unlimited helpdesk support during business hours with after-hours coverage for emergencies; patch and antivirus management; backup monitoring; vendor coordination; and a quarterly technology review. Anything outside that scope — new hardware, major projects, third-party licensing — is quoted separately and approved by you first.

How is your pricing structured?

Most clients pay a flat monthly fee based on the number of users and servers we support. Flat-rate matters because it aligns incentives: when we fix root causes, we both win. You'll know your IT cost twelve months out, which makes budgeting a lot less exciting.

Can you work alongside our existing IT staff?

Yes. Co-managed IT is one of our most common arrangements. Your internal person keeps ownership of the things they know best while we supply enterprise-grade tooling, after-hours coverage, specialist escalation, and a backstop when they're on vacation.

What does the cybersecurity side actually cover?

Layered defense: endpoint detection and response, email filtering and anti-phishing, multi-factor authentication, DNS filtering, patching discipline, least-privilege access, encrypted and tested backups, and ongoing security awareness training for staff. We also run periodic vulnerability scans and give you a written remediation plan rather than a raw scanner dump.

How long does onboarding take?

Typically two to four weeks for a small business, longer for multi-site environments. Week one is discovery and documentation, week two is deploying monitoring and security tooling, and the remainder is closing urgent gaps found in the assessment. Support coverage starts on day one — you don't wait for the project to finish.

Do you require a long-term contract?

Our agreements are month-to-month after an initial term, with a 30-day exit. If we're doing our job you won't want to leave; if we're not, you shouldn't be trapped.
